Financial Assistance

As part of the 2022-23 Budget, the government introduced the Small Business Technology Investment Boost. Small businesses (with an aggregated annual turnover of less than $50 million) are able to deduct an additional 20% of expenditure that is incurred to support their digital operations and digitise their operations.

In response to the impacts of the recent South-East Queensland rainfall and flooding, the Queensland Government has announced the release of its ‘Extraordinary Disaster Assistance Recovery Grants’, designed to support affected small businesses in their recovery.

Following the ‘Disaster Recovery Payment’ program released in support of those affected by the South-East Queensland floods, further financial aid has now been released through the ‘Disaster Recovery Allowance – February 2022’ payment program.

We would like to extend our thoughts to those facing hardship or who may have been impacted by the recent floods throughout areas of South-East Queensland & NSW.

Whilst more details are still to be announced by the QLD Government in the coming days, businesses impacted by the latest lockdown restrictions in Queensland may be eligible for financial assistance and support through the 2021 COVID-19 Business Support Grant.
